What To Bring
Most of the events are outdoors and informal; you'll want to be wearing clothes that are comfortable and that you don't mind getting dirty. The weather in September is usually quite nice, but it could range from 60 and foggy to 80 and sunny during the day, and it will probably drop into the 40s at night. Layers serve you well in Northern California!
What to Wear to the Ceremony:
The wedding ceremony will be held in a shady redwood grove with rough wooden benches; wear something you don't mind getting splinters in--something like shorts, jeans, comfy slacks or a causal skirt. The amphitheater is on a steep hillside without stairs; wear shoes you could use on a trail.
What to Bring to Camp:
- Beach towel (bath towel will be provided)
- Bathing suit
- Sunscreen
- Tevas or other waterproof sandals
- Nalgene or other re-usable water bottle
- Flashlight or headlamp
- Camera
- Binoculars
- Sketch pad
- Sweater/sweatshirt, sweatpants
- Walking/hiking shoes
- Musical instruments
- Board or card games
- Folding camp chair
- Toys: Frisbees, Nerf football, kites, toy airplanes, etc.
- Unicycle(s)
- Bicycle suitable for dirt roads
- Fishing tackle (The lake is stocked with bass)
- Ghost stories
- A sense of fun!
